Why should I use Reflugard®?
There are several over-the-counter products for stomach problems. Reflugard® is the only one that
combines the anti-foaming agent simethicone with components that neutralize
stomach acid.

sodium bicarbonate and the excipient citric acid.
When should Reflugard® be used?

How should I use Reflugard®?
- In order to restore a balanced digestion: 1 sachet after the main
main meals of the day.
Maximum 2 sachets per day.
- To neutralize an elevated acidity: 2 sachets after the main meals of the day.
Maximum 4 sachets per day.
To be taken by dissolving the contents of one sachet of Reflugard® directly in the mouth.
From 18 years of age.
Between 6 and 18 years of age, the product is used as recommended by the healthcare professional.

Does Reflugard® interact with medicines?
Reflugard® contains adsorbents which means that the absorption of medicines taken
simultaneously can be delayed. This applies, for example, to antacids, antibiotics, antispasmodics
medicines, diabetes medicines, oral contraceptives and thyrostatics. Medicines should be taken two
hours before or after using Reflugard®.

Does Reflugard® interact with food supplements?
No, it does not Reflugard® does not. However, it is recommended that food supplements such as
vitamins, as well as homeopathic medicines or herbal remedies should be taken two hours
before or after using Reflugard®. This is because there are adsorbents in
Reflugard®, which can adsorb the absorption of these agents.
